These are a great quick cheat recipe. Just grab a full-sized tin of mashed potato seasoning and save the roasting garlic for another day. Throw in some butter and sour cream and voila!
Garlic Parmesan Mashed Potatoes
4 Medium Russet Potatoes, Peeled and Cubed
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
1/2 Cup Whole Milk
3 TBSP Butter
1 TSP Parmesan Garlic Mashed Potato Seasoning
-Procedure:
1.Place the cubed potatoes in a 4 qt sauce pan and cover with cool, salted water.
2.Palce the pot on high heat and bring to a boil.
3.Boil until a fork inserted into the potatoes goes in with no resistance, approximately 15- 20 minutes.
4.Drain the potatoes and leave about 1/8 inch of water in the bottom of the pot.
5.Add the remaining ingredients to the pot.
6.Using a potato masher work the potatoes and dairy until light and fluffy.
7.Scrape the mixture into a large piping bag fitted with a large star tip.
8.Set aside until ready for assembly.
