As I sit here enjoying coffee at home and nibbling on my sweet creations from last night, I realized just how much I love a good cookie. There is nothing more comforting than snatching a cookie or two, fresh off of the cooling rack; pouring a glass of ice cold milk; and savoring every delectable crumb. I know I am not the only person who experiences this confectionary euphoria.

With the simplest of ingredients, this soccer mom friendly dessert can transport us through place and time. It can bring back memories from childhood and leave us feeling nostalgic. Why not celebrate the beauty and wonder of something so accessible and scrumptious?

So, I have decided to dedicate the month of December to cookies!! Think of the blog this month as a cookie Advent calendar if you will, a day-by-day pageant of cookies.
