The Gilded Tongue is here to provide  recipes, tips, reviews, and so much more. As a chef and employee at a certain specialty store which will remain unnamed, I am surrounded by food, cookbooks, tools, and everything food adjacent you can imagine. I am by no means an expert in every aspect of the culinary world, but I have learned a thing or two in my career that can make your kitchen time more enjoyable with less effort.

In the posts to follow, I will give you product reviews based on my experience and knowledge, partnered with other reviews (some other sources you all actually know might help solidify a few things). I’ll also provide recipes and tips to give the best possible outcome. I’ve made many mistakes the first time preparing a recipe. If you look at the grand scheme of things it’s not really that many mistakes, but everyone makes them. Hopefully where I’ve lost control, you will completely succeed the first time around.

But wait, just wait, there’s more!!! I have a passion for collecting cookbooks, finding treasures and sometimes, a lot of times, rubbish. We will share these little gems together and prepare recipes from some of my favs. Get your sassiest apron on and prepare to dive into cooking debauchery. All the while being well informed.
